Rutland Stove Lining box. A Asbestos powder preparation mixed with water to create a cement like product. Then troweled on as a lining to stoves. The box is still full, and made the Rutland Fire Company, Rutland, VT. Circa 1920s or so. One side has women, and the other side a man, troweling the goop onto a stove. T#6

Cardui~McElree's Cardui Tonic with original box. Box is torn and missing most of it's upper and lower flaps. Old bottle is mostly full. Old snake oil/herbal preparations. The box looks quite old I would guess from around the turn of last century. From the label: A Vegetable Bitter Tonic and Stomachic, with Antispasmodic Properties valuable in relieving Functional Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation not due to alteration of organs), whatever that means. 9oz Bottle. 	Old 1940s Benzedrine Inhaler, a product that soon became known to have stimulant effects beyond it's intended medical use. By the late 1950s, it became a prescription item as abuse of the inhalers begain to raise questions. Medical science moved away from this product, as it was replaced by others. This inhaler is in very good condition, inert, with the surrounding instructions for use. S72
